Economic and Legal Aspects
Economic Models for Digital Publishing
TB10bis - Scientific programme scheduled for December 12
From 11:00 to 12:30 at the "Amphi C"
Summary
If the international evolution of scientific communication is used as a yardstick, the world of university publishing is on the verge of a major transformation, which will see the printed word gradually giving way to the digital format.
The consequences for methods of production, distribution and use will be such that, in addition to new information, communication and documentation practices, the savings made by the teaching and research departments will help create a new investment and operating model.
The round table will focus on the status and remuneration of authors and the forms of partnership that can be entered into with publishers to ensure the quality services that university publishing requires, for specialist and general literature, manuals or scientific reviews.
