International Cooperation
Standardising and Referencing: International Issues and Challenges
TB12bis - Scientific programme scheduled for December 12
From 11:00 to 12:30 at the "Salle F"
Summary
Whether training is being provided or digital resources being produced for teaching and research, their visibility and propagation are strongly disadvantaged by their heterogeneity and the lack of interoperability in their methods of description and referencing, which would benefit from being reduced by international standardisation.
The round table will tackle the questions of standardisation and referencing in various areas: training provisions, production and dissemination of digital resources … The associated international, economic and cultural challenges will also be discussed.
The round table will debate the conditions that would facilitate the standards and norms being adopted and their application by higher education institutions.
