Summary

It is important that the level of individual training for teachers in the use of technologies is increased, for their own use and so that they can develop their teaching practices, thereby reducing the digital gulf between them and their students.

The round table will provide the forum for a debate on the ICT and ICT for Education training strategies put in place by higher education institutions or by national courts and, more expansively, on the orientation of training programmes in terms of content and methods of organisation.

Experiences of certification in IT and the internet, C2i level 2 “Teacher” will be presented.
