Teaching and Learning Models Facing ICT for Education
TB14 - Scientific programme scheduled for December 12
From 09:00 to 10:30 at the "Amphi B"
Summary
Teaching and learning have always included technical objects and, in this regard, universities are able to offer a specific solution: historically, pedagogy has never been a priority and technical objects are mainly used in auxiliary and functional ways. In addition, digital technologies pose problems that go beyond educational aspects. By quickly reinforcing types of interdependence and the virtualisation of methods of working and relating to others, they bind technological developments and the production and dissemination of knowledge and social behaviours more tightly than ever.
Within this context, university teaching and training are faced with several challenges:
- firstly, to rethink teaching conceptions and engineering by using the full potential of contemporary tools;
- then, to accompany the necessary changes to the representations and practices of the various players in the institution (politicians, administrators, teachers and students);
- consequently, to clarify the university’s missions in this sector and, finally, the society plan to which they subscribe.
